Carrots, 1kg bag

Keep carrots unwashed in the fridge crisper drawer. If they have tops attached, remove them first as they draw moisture from the root.

Prep Scrub well under cold water. Peeling is optional. Trim the ends, then slice, dice, grate, or leave whole depending on use.

Eat raw or cook Carrots are great raw in salads and slaws. They also roast, steam, boil, and stir-fry well. Roasting brings out natural sweetness.
