Store
Store kumara in a cool, dark, well-ventilated place, not in the fridge. Use within a couple of weeks.

Prep
Scrub clean under cold water. Peeling is optional. Cut evenly so pieces cook at the same rate.

Eat raw or cook
Kumara can be grated raw into salads. It’s also excellent roasted, mashed, baked, or added to soups and curries.
