Store
Keep unwashed green beans in the fridge crisper drawer, ideally in a breathable bag. They’re best used within a few days for top crunch and colour.

Prep
Wash just before using. Trim off the stem ends (the pointy tail can stay). If the beans are large, you can slice them in half, but it’s optional.

Cook
Quick is best. Steam, stir-fry, blanch, or toss straight into a hot pan with a little olive oil and garlic. They should stay bright green and slightly crisp.
