    Whole pumpkin keeps best in a cool, dry place. Once cut, wrap tightly and store in the fridge, using within a few days.

    Prep
    Cut in half, scoop out the seeds, then peel or leave the skin on if roasting. Cut into similar-sized pieces so it cooks evenly.

    Eat raw or cook
    Pumpkin can be grated raw into salads, though it’s most often cooked. It’s great roasted, steamed, boiled, or added to soups and curries. Roasting brings out natural sweetness.
