Vibrant, fresh, and full of goodness—our locally grown silverbeet is a true all-rounder. Toss it in a stir-fry, add to a quiche, or simply sauté with garlic and olive oil. Silverbeet brings colour, flavour, and a hefty dose of nutrients to your plate.

  • Store
    Keep silverbeet in the fridge crisper drawer, loosely wrapped. Use within a few days while the leaves are firm and fresh.

    Prep
    Rinse well to remove any grit. Separate the stalks from the leaves. Slice the stalks and roughly chop the leaves.

    Eat raw or cook
    Young leaves can be sliced raw into salads. When cooking, add the stalks first as they take longer, then add the leaves at the end. Great sautéed, steamed, or added to pasta, pies, and soups.
