Eatlocal are thrilled to bring you two new products from Loburn Grove, a boutique orchard and artisan food producer based in North Canterbury, run by Mark & Kasia, who bought the orchard after the Canterbury earthquakes.

Made in North Canterbury logo

Loburn Grove crafts amazing handcrafted products in small batches, using only the finest ingredients to ensure exceptional quality. Their wealth of experience brings a dedication to quality and a passion for excellence.

We stock their Hazelnut Oil and Hazelnut Dukkah, which complement each other perfectly.

The oil is cold-pressed with a divine nutty taste. Unrefined, unadulterated and rich in naturally occurring antioxidants, it's perfect for sautéing (it has a very high smoke point), baking, blending into a dressing, or drizzling over salads, pasta and vegetable dishes. Great for marinating steaks, chicken and fish.

A bag of hazelnut dukkah, a bottle of hazelnut oil, and a saucer with some crusty bread on.

The 100ml size is a perfect addition to your selection of oils.

As if it wasn't versatile enough, Hazelnut oil is also easily absorbed into the skin, making it ideal for body massage and skin care, being high in vitamins, minerals and proteins.

The Hazelnut Dukkah is a delicious blend of dry-roasted hazelnuts (75%) and spices.

The most fun way to eat it is to tear off a chunk of crusty bread, dip it into some oil, and then smudge it around in the dukkah for a sublime taste and texture sensation.

It's also great sprinkled on salads, or as seasoning on vegetables, meats, or fish.
